The Highland Park Crocodiles coaches are an amazing group of hardworking, loving, and respectful young adults. All have extensive experience and knowledge of both swimming and working with kids. We have a proud tradition on this team where most of our coaches have come up through the years as a part of the CROCS FAMILY. We are proud to have them continue to represent our team and be leaders for our swimmers.
Get to know your 2026 Coaches!
Hi! My name is Shelby Wagner! I have been with the Crocs since I was 6 years old, and I started my coaching journey at 12 years old! I am an upcoming freshman at the University of North Georgia where I plan to major in Occupational Therapy. I can't wait to have a great season with the Crocs this year!
Hi, my name is Elyse! This will be my 7th summer swim season with the Crocs and I’ve been swimming year-round for 5 years. I am a rising senior at Chattahoochee HS, where I will be a Captain of the Swim and Dive team, along with Coach Caroline! I absolutely adore coaching the kids, they never fail to make me smile. I can’t wait to see all the returning faces and meet the new ones!
Hey! My name is Isa Podesta and I am a rising freshman at Georgia Tech. I am also from Argentina and am fluent in Spanish. I have been swimming with the Crocs for 11 years and coaching for 3. Looking forward to a great season!
Hi! My name is Caroline and I am so super excited to be back with the Highland Crocs for my second year! Last year was so much fun and I know this year will be just as great. I've been a competitive swimmer for about six years now, and am going into my fourth year swimming with Chattahoochee High School's swim and dive team and this year as a captain with my fellow coach Elyse! I love getting to know all the kids and getting to coach them, so I can't wait to be back in the pool!
Hi! I'm Addison! I've been involved in summer swim for seven years and have three years of coaching experience. This fall, I'll be a senior at Chattahoochee High School, where I also swim for the school team. I'm so excited to be part of this year's team and can't wait to see everyone at the pool!
Hi! My name is Allison and I am so excited for this summer! This will be my first year coaching and last year I was a junior coach! I have been swimming at Highland Park since I was five years old. I am a rising sophomore at Denmark High School and I am looking forward to this summer!
Hi Crocs! I'm Scarlett Chen, and I'm a rising junior at Alpharetta High School. I've been swimming for 11 years and this is my 8th year with the Crocs! I've been swimming year round at Dynamo since 2018, when I moved to Atlanta. This is my first year officially coaching, and I junior coached last summer. I can't wait to work with all the kids and I wish everyone a fun season!
Hi! I’m Isabella! I will be a senior at Chattahoochee High School this fall. I have been coaching swim for three years and this will be my second with the Highland Crocs! I play soccer during the fall and spring seasons but also love swim. I am so excited to be back this year and am looking forward to a super fun season!
Hey! My name is Andrea Martin and I am a rising sophomore at Fideles. I am so excited for my fourth year with the Crocs. I have been swimming ever since I was two but started competing five years ago. I am from Mexico and fluent in Spanish. I am so excited to start my coaching journey!
DO YOU WANT TO BE A COACH?
We are always looking for our next up and coming coaches. It has always been the tradition of the CROCS to create a potential coaching path for our swimmers.
If you have swim team experience, love working/helping others and are able to handle a leadership role, you are welcome to apply for an intern/volunteer coaching position. Our coaches, where possible, start this coaching path as an intern/volunteer prior to becoming a junior coach, assistant coach, then eventually our head coach.
While we would love to have all our swimmers serve one day as coaches, each year the number of coaches may vary depending on the size and need of the team. Our coaches are determined yearly through interviews for each of our positions.
